1. Who we are
This website, soheileghtesadi.com (the "Site"), is operated by Soheil Eghtesadi ("we", "us", or "our"), based in British Columbia, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the Site, book a consultation, make a payment, or contact us, and how we use and protect it.
We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
2. Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, and the details you enter when you book a consultation, fill in a form, use the chat, or email us. If you share business information during coaching (for example, revenue, company name or goals), we collect that too.
- Payment information: payments are handled directly by Stripe or PayPal. We receive confirmation of your payment (name, amount, date, last four digits of a card) but we never see or store your full card number.
- Usage information: when you browse the Site we automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the Site, using cookies and Google Analytics.
3. How we use your information
- To schedule, confirm, and deliver your consultations and coaching sessions.
- To process payments and send receipts.
- To send appointment reminders and respond to your messages.
- To send occasional updates or newsletters, only if you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
- To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
4. Service providers we use
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the Site and our business:
- HighLevel / LeadConnector for booking calendars, forms, chat, contact management, and appointment emails or text messages.
- Stripe and PayPal for processing payments.
- Google Analytics for anonymous website statistics.
- Hostinger for website hosting.
- Google (Gmail / Google Workspace) for email.
Some of these providers store information on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. When that happens, your information may be subject to the laws of that country.
5. Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use them to keep the Site working, to remember your cookie choices, and, with your consent, to measure traffic with Google Analytics. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the cookie banner, and you can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. To opt out of Google Analytics on all websites, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
6. How long we keep information
We keep booking and client records for as long as we work together and for up to seven years afterward to meet tax and accounting requirements. Website analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. You can ask us to delete your information sooner where the law allows.
7. How we protect your information
The Site uses SSL encryption, and we limit access to personal information to the people and providers who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
8. Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you may withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. Residents of some places, such as California or the European Union, may have additional rights under their local laws. To make a request, email us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Children
The Site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
